Certified Copy

Here is a little analysis I wrote for the movie in the middle of the night. what I ultimately got out of the movie are that Elle and James relationship are a copy of Elles real relationship with her husband. From a simple mistake made by a coffee shop owner leads to Elle and James creating a copy of the real relationship to find a new perspective of why Elles husband left her (kind of like how James believes that art is all about perspective and the meaning you get from it) we also see throughout the movie many different other copies weather that been in the background or some of the side characters (the couple near the statue mimicking James and Elle). James also believes that copies of art still have the same value as the original copies of the art sometimes even more, it’s almost as if Elle (who disagrees with the book) is trying to test James theories and apply them to her real life to see if he is right or not. Anyway I can go on but I am to tired and I’m already rambling!
