Hamnet

I really thought watching Hamnet at 2am while on my period was a good idea. It clearly was not. “I give you my life. You shall be well. I give you my life, Jude. I’ll be brave. I’ll be brave.” That line actually broke me. The way Judith was begging to stay in the room while saying “he needs me”. The way Agnes was holding Hamnet, screaming and crying. I felt it in my bones. I wasn’t just watching them. I was literally sobbing with them. This film deserves every award. The casts are unreal. Paul Mescal has this talent for making me cry in every single film/ series he’s in and yes he did it again. Jessie Buckley is just insane. I love her so much. Her performance was phenomenal. Plus, my boy Jacobi Jupe. You’re the star.
