first yorgos lanthimos movie!! it did not disappoint. jesse plemmons was phenomenal in this film, the only other character i have seen him play is todd in breaking bad, but he definitely knows how to play an unsettling and disturbing character. the way he brought teddys character to life was insane. amazing acting from emma stone, my queen, and aiden delbis as well! this film was very well paced with an insane but unexpected climax, i think my jaw was wide open for the last 20 minutes of the film. don's death was unanticipated and shook me to my core. soon after, teddy makes the decision to kill the police officer, stavros, and then his own mother after reaching a mental breaking point after the mental pressure he faced during the previous 3 days. i thoroughly enjoyed trying to figure out michelles character, wondering if teddy was a crazed conspiracist or she really was an andromedan i even doubted my own thinking until the very end of the movie. " I know who you are, I know what you are."
