Hoppers

I was gonna write a little one liner for this but I just got out of the theater and this movie highly exceeded my expectations. I wouldn’t have minded paying $6 for the discount tuesday deal if it ended up being a horrible movie but I am glad I saw this in theaters. The concept alone of the movie was strong, but really works was how Pixar executed it. The idea of people hopping into animals to talk to real animals seems a little funky but it was carried out pretty well in the movie.  The animation of this movie is definitely one of Pixar’s better work of recent years, and I was pretty impressed by it after finishing the movie. Everything animated from the trees, to the characters, to the expressions of the animals seemed all intentional and well done. many Pixar films recently have been very all over the place but this movie felt very confident like it knew where it wanted to go. this movie was very solid and put together from start to finish.
