Theodore Roosevelt

This documentary is excellent but it also led me down a strange rabbit hole. TR named his son Kermit, who then name his son Kermit, who named his son Kermit, who then named his son Kermit. There have been four, (FOUR!) Kermit Roosevelt’s, one currently still living. Why did the Roosevelt’s love that name so much that they named four generations of Roosevelt’s Kermit? That’s what I want to know.
