i love kathy bates so i was very prepared to pearl is so kind her in this but i fully did not expect the baby thing that shit caught me so off guard lol

the camera work/cinematography made this so unsettling, even the shots of the normal world just freaked me out. the actual camera footage of the backrooms was so cool. when the concept of your film is based on a single image, this is probably the best way to go about it.  no liminal space horror will ever be as good as skinamarink but i enjoyed this a lot  i love love love renate reinsve so much!! and fuck kane parsons for being my age and going places in life

this was very fiona apple so i loved every second of it
