I’ve always loved walking out of the movie theater and being so aware of the flickering of a light or the humming of the AC; it just makes me feel connected with the world around me… but walking of out of *this*, those sounds became unbearable and I could not wait to get home, get in my pijamas and watch a cartoon. ps. I don’t think it’s the scariest movie ever, like I’ve seen some people say. It just has *really* good sound, but the storyline itself wasn’t entirely unique and, unfortunately, I felt like it relied a lot on jumpscares. I can see why he’s directing the next Paranormal Activity, he does that style pretty well.
