Tarantino is such a bitchass but he makes damn good movies omg

I should go back to watching horror movies. Disturbing, brutal and so fucking exciting. Exactly what you expect from Korean Thrillers turned to eleven. Quality wise its probably a 5/5 but god is it not "fun" to watch. Was gonna give it a 4.5 but lowkey every female character gets raped, mauled or murdered and none of them get any agency (except for one phonecall) or characterization. The victims take a kind lf weird backseat in this. Its still a thrilling watch but honestly just watch Lady Vengeance if you want Choi Min-Sik as a serial killer getting tortured cause that movie does it quite a bit better. Thrilling watch but once you take a step back it feels less solid. Between 3.5 and 4 stars for me Banger performance from Lee Byung-Hun aswell
