“[falling in love] is kind of like a form of socially acceptable insanity”
I wasn’t expecting this movie to be so brilliant. It looks stunning, the music is incredible, the humour is grotesque (for lack of a better word), and the whole movie is sickeningly haunting.
There were all these beautiful words and scenes and letters and music, written about a love that wasn’t real, and it was beautiful
I think it’s so interesting watching this now, in the age of ai, amidst r/myboyfriendisai, and ai psychosis, it felt surreal to watch this.
Brilliant.
