Sentimental Value

“And then for the first time, i sat down and prayed. Its hard to explain but i said it out loud. Help me. I want a home.”  This was such an emotionally raw film. felt sentimental indeed. Had to let it sit with me a day or two before i could rate it. I heard somewhere that some films focus on the plot while others prioritize the experience of watching it more. This one was a perfect mix of both. That scene where nora finally reads the script and the scene after with agnes and her definitely got to me. I only wish we got to know more about their mother.
