How did I even live without watching this masterpieceThis show has more than two of the best characters in media history, with insane soundtracks directing dialogue depth and philosophy.I actually loved the last arc despite it being one of the most hated arcs ever I think it’s overhated The final three episodes make it completely worth it.
Yagami Light believes that for a better world to exist, he must reign over it and protect it from evil by his own hand, becoming a God symbolizing justice.
L and Near believe that true justice can only exist through reason truth and equality, not by fear or divine power.Thats why we see them search for Hard evidence not just assumptions and that proves this . They stand against Light’s world of control acting as humanity response or salvation to his self proclaimed divinity
although they might seem not similar at all they all share the same obsession with justice the same need to prove their ideals right, and the same willingness to sacrifice everything for their beliefs they’re not opposites just reflections of one another driven by different visions or paths of the same truth they are yet so different it makes them so similar. And that makes their rivalry The best Ever
