nut check.

oh wait, justice smith kinda did that. i put this film off for so long because i didn’t really think i would enjoy it, but i actually loved it? there were so many layers, and i feel like a24 outdid themselves here. the ending left me longing for more so badly, but i feel like that’s another element about this to love.

timothee is like a moth to a flame when it comes to taking on sad roles. i just know his therapist busy.

maturing is realizing that this film could have been so much better given the setting. i still adore the concept, but the execution is honestly lackluster. i remember this being much better the first time, and i’m so sad i don't see that spark now. a thought that has not changed: gavin deserved a lot better as he was one of the only likable characters there.
