Death Note

*(Follow me on serializd : leandrofilmz) * After about a week of watching this i'm finally done and well what a journey man, i'm gonna miss this show a lot. I never went with high expectations even though my dad is most of the times right when it comes to recomendations but still, idk i had a feeling i wouldn't like it that much but how wrong i was. The first like 11 to 12 episodes were the most consistent part of the show for sure, seeing these mind games between L and Light was so engaging and i was really hooked from the beggining. The comedy was also funny, mostly with Ryuk. From ep 12 to 22 it has some highs and lows but still pretty good and entertaining asf (which is something this show never fails to do). The part where Light lost his memories was really good and we got to see how much he changed since he got the notebook too. Then from ep 23 to 25 it was the best stretch of the show and the story reaching it's peak. The episodes had me all in the edge of my seat watching how it all unfolds and episode 25 was so shocking and emotional and the main turning point in the story. Unfortunately though, after that the show got really inconsistent for the next 10 episodes. It wasn't bad but there were a lot of mediocre episodes but what bumped my ratings was the enjoyability. I did not like Near and Mello, Near because he's an obvious copy of L and Mello was just not really well explored, the only thing i'l remember of him in a few weeks will be that he loves chocolate because he's not a memorable character at all. However, the 2 final episodes were a really amazing pay off and they were emotional, especially the last one that for me is the best of the show. Well, i wish i could write more but it just seems my mind goes blank when i finish a show. I loved this a lot and even though it kinda fell off after ep 25, i was always entertained by this eveb though the writing was kinda sloppy at some times. I'm not sure where this ranks yet but i would maybe put it above Berserk in #10 place.
