The Witch

Watching this on IMAX made me appreciate it even more and made me add it to my favorite films list. Robert Eggers knows how to create a convincing period piece and knows how to shoot tense scenes. Everyone acts their like their rent was due and were able to do so many one-shot monologues. The self-fulfilling prophecy of Thomasin ending as a witch ties everything together and makes it even more tragic and sad given the time period.
