“a mother’s love…” this really surprised me in the best way. I went into it thinking I already understood how it would end, and being wrong made the experience like so much more satisfying. hm: one scene that I really loved was the lake house scene set to chris isaak’s “wicked game.” The song choice fit the emotional tension perfectly and added depth w/o needing much dialogue. ALSO, tessa thompson is SO BEAUTIFUL
