this movie is emotion. all of it. in every direction. but what really got me? the soundtrack. i don’t think i’ve ever heard music used so intentionally. frank ocean, kendrick, radiohead, tame impala. each song doesn’t just play, it feels like part of the story. like the characters’ emotions are pouring out through the speakers. there are scenes i remember because of the music. the way it swells, disappears, comes back stronger. one of the best uses of music in film i’ve ever experienced.
