Enter the Void
Gaspar Noé must have experienced death before.
I think it’s about life and death, the amount of memories, trauma, and experiences everyone carries can be gone just like that with them. The circle of life starts all over again and when a baby is brought into the world it represents all of the new experiences that life of its own will bring with it. the realization that everything goes on with or without you and you must make the most of it before it is over
The use of perspective I have never seen before. Plays in first person at the start (like full first person, blinking and everything) and when he trips it goes into 3rd. When he dies his life plays over again all in 3rd person trapping you inside a consciousness. Crazy transitions like going through his bullet hole into darkness and out of some kids playground hole. And the visuals are literally other worldly, it has all the dmt hallucinations, like this guy casually has a biblically accurate angel in front of him. Just crazy symmetrical shapes and it looks like this guy can see the neurons in his head.
The ending I thought was really weird with the going to each hotel room of people having sex but then I realized it represents all of the new life, like I talked about in the first paragraph. Also one more thing to add, Kanye must of got direct inspiration from the intro for the all of the lights music video.
"Dmt is the same chemical your brain produces when you die" AND YOUR JUST SMOKING IT????
