Camp Hell
I (like hundreds of others who got tricked) fell for the promise of Jesse Eisenberg — only for him to have maybe 15 minutes of total screentime in this very meh “scary movie.” Maybe it’s worth a watch if you work at a summer camp, but otherwise, it’s nothing: not fun, not scary, not emotionally sound. The whole plot basically loops: boy commits sin, priest finds out; boy commits sin, priest finds out; boy commits sin, priest finds out — and then suddenly, boy is the devil. Why? Because of a book. Disappointing beyond belief. I mean props to the repetition of the crime, but seriously deplorable.
