Network

Absolutely phenomenal. Faye Dunaway, Duvall, Beatty and Holden all give incredible perfomances. I absolutely adore the long, self-righteous monologues. Written almost perfectly, and every line was delivered with wit and poise. As Aaron Sorkin said- “No predictor of the future—not even Orwell—has ever been as right as Chayefsky was when he wrote Network." A cruelly hilarious, timeless piece of art.  Can’t wait to watch more from Sidney Lumet. Serpico soon come “You're television incarnate, Diana. Indifferent to suffering; insensitive to joy!”
