Adolescence
I have never watched a miniseries as good as this in a while. It breaks every single convention through the choice of its masterful use of a continuous one shot for each episode allowing the audience to engage with the characters on a much deeper level (the acting was absolutely brilliant ) which illustrates a more social realist aspect to its message on contemporary UK society and the dangers the exposure of misogyny can have on young boys. It’s use of hybridity on the psychological thriller in each episode makes it a unique miniseries which ultimately creates and engaging and devastatingly emotional watch.
