Escaping Twin Flames

I'm utterly disgusted. I am at a loss for words to describe what I've witnessed. For the uninitiated, a Twin Flame is the perfect mirror to your soul and your true love. So take this concept of having your perfect person on a cosmic level. It's almost fatalist in the approach it goes with in describing how love works. If someone is deemed your love, you must pursue this person to the ends of the Earth because there isn't anyone else who will ever fit you like this person - the twin flame. So imagine if you saw a post on Facebook guaranteeing that you will find the love of your life by following some simple steps provided by two people who claim to be twin flames - Jeff and Sheila. Jeff and Shelia are cult leaders. As it goes with the subject material of the documentary details the extensive amounts of abuse and crimes that the two commit and inflict on the people following their teachings. I found this fascinating study of how cults can grow on the internet. It can be disguised to help one another, but it is taking stock of your biggest insecurities and exploiting you with emotional leverage. When you submit your power to your leader, you are willing to take their actions to heart and do anything to regain the trust of someone you trust. It is about taking complete control of someone, breaking down their psyche, and molding them into how you want them to be. Jeff, in particular, is a sick freak who deserves to be under a prison for the abuse he is doing to people in his cult. I also have to touch on the whole trans aspect of this cult. Jeff is making people in this cult transition against this will so that way Jeff can prove that he knows who belongs to whom (he assigns people to one another, defeating the twin flame purpose of it being someone that you find to be a perfect partner for you, funny how it happens to be someone in the same group as you.) and that there is a strict gender binary - Devine Masculine and Devine Feminine. You are one or the other, and anyone who happens to be non-binary must subjugate themselves to this strict doctrine to receive the blessings of Jeff. It was hard watching people who were looking for a group to give them emotional support to be taken advantage of by someone who admitted from the start that he wanted to be a cult leader. It's hard watching the lives left in ruin because an egomaniac wanted money and power. I can only hope that we may be able to bring these evil people to justice for the torment they've inflicted on innocent people.
