Woah, as a heterosexual man i must say i love a homosexual romance film. seriously though this film is very impressive especially for the awareness to challenges faced in the lgbtq community particularly in western africa but the actual film itself is crafted so well except from the unintended jump scares unless these people have the shortest tempers on planet earth. I love the scene where Manga first tells his mother about the relationship and for some reason it reminds me of belly. I feel like the dialogue in dakan is well thought out aswell liek you could quote a decent amount of it. great film.

omd so fucking good, timmy boi absolutely kills this and it pins me that this is slightly better than sinners cause i love coogler but wow it’s insane, endo is an amazing, auraful and amplifying angtagonist, fuck rachel but also not fuck rachel at the same time, that baby is UGLY AF, omd timmy kills this role.

just shed a tear at the family table ffs, this film is so much closer to city of god then i thought it’s like actually the definition of art in motion, black cinema actually has my heart i love it so much theres actually nothing better, maharsha ali, trevante rhodes, ashton saunders and little play fricking amazing in this, best cinematography in film, best soundtrack and best casting in film.
