Heat
"I'm alone, I am not lonely"
"Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner."
"For me the sun rises and set with her"
"Cause she's got a great ass... and you got your head all the way up it! Ferocious, aren't I? When I think of asses, a woman's ass, something comes out of me."
"Who? Who? What are you, a fcking owl?"*
"I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. I know life is short, whatever time you get is luck. You want to walk? You walk right now. Or on your own... on your own you choose to come with me. And all I know is... all I know is there's no point in me going anywhere anymore if it's going to be alone... without you.
"It rains you get wet"
"Cause there is a dead man at the other end of this line"
*"When I get around to it."
I'd quote the entire dinner scene but just go watch the movie.*
This movie from beginning to end is perfect, 3 hours and I was never bored, so many incredible sequences and moments. De Niro, Al Pacino and Val Kilmer were fucking insane, that dinner scene and bank scene is peak.
The way that Neil and Vincent see themselves in each other just on other sides of the spectrum and the way they open up so easily to each other is so clever. I feel bad for Chris because of his bitch of a wife but at least she had her redeeming moment in the end. It's an easy 10/10 for me and in my top 4 for now.
