you wouldn’t believe the shock on my face through out this whole fucking movie. what an abomination, savoring the shit out of that white savior bullshit, and beating it out of a war veteran racist dipshit out of everyone. like being racist comes with redemption and you expect people to be okay with it and accept the apology by dying for an asian girl.

denzel washington being the only thing good enough mentioning from this bullshit. and i don’t even have time to elaborate on how annoying, historically inaccurate and flat the plot is because i just opened the reviews to this and count like 100 people mentioning the word “twink” and immediately lost my will to live tonight.

japanese people are so good at animation it almost made you forgot how they all somehow will be able to find a way on how to be horrible people 😭 considering this came out in 2016, they were basically living in a different timeline (LMFAO i sound like an american). but i’ve always thought that japanese animation have to be separated from its plot and character writing because i will always found a flaw in that category. the main characters is always written in this same trope that the beauty of the animation just feels dull due to the cracks between the plot.  also found it irritating the fact that mitsuha turn that boy’s life for the better while she was in his body while his fuckass was embarrassing my girl. men will ruin everything smh.

you don’t expect me to tolerate little teenage boys being misogynistic just because it was common to do in their time right? like i need you guys to realize that you’re normalizing liking and making these stereotypical coming of age movie as a ground for men and boys to freely act like future rapist and abuser and excusing them as “*oh they’re just little boys” “it was normal back in the day”… * then why are these type of movie always titled as ‘iconic’ if not the audience making it so 😭
