In a time where it's easy to feel despair from the world, what an experience to sit in a theater to laugh, cry, and feel hope together with others. Amaze 🥹👎🏼

We've hit a new wuthering low. Going into this movie, I knew it wouldn't stick to the source material or include the commentary on social class conflict, racism, or cycles of abuse that is found in the novel. However, I didn't expect a movie that was just plain bad. It had nothing much to say at all. The script felt like a secondary thought to the sets and costumes. Even the sexual depravity doesn't go much beyond what's shown in the trailer. At the end, I was left feeling empty and dissatisfied. Oh and don't even get me started on how Fennell will cast a white Heathcliff but then cast POC as the antagonist of the movie. One star for Linus Sandgren's cinematography.

Cinematography ✅ Choreography ✅ Acting ✅ However the story itself fell a little flat for me
