Demolition
This film has been on my watchlist ever since a clip of it showed up on my Reels a while back. I remember seeing a comment that said, "He just realized he didn't love her." If you've actually seen the movie, it's impossible to come away with that take. Of course there was love. He was completely thrown off balance after his wife's death. Just because he grieved differently doesn't mean he wasn't grieving.

He started taking things apart because he wanted to see how they worked on the inside. He could do that with anything he wanted, except for the one thing he wanted to understand the most: the person who was no longer there. All the moments they had together, all the time she was with him… it wasn’t enough for him to truly pay attention. He knew her the way anyone could have known her, despite being her husband. And she was always there—in the car’s sun visor, in the shower, inside a fridge, next to him in bed, in every corner of his life, just waiting to be seen.
We do this so often, don't we? We take things for granted and live on autopilot... It's that old saying, "You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone." Like waking up with a stuffy nose and suddenly appreciating all the days you could breathe properly 😂 (just to lighten the mood a bit).
