Frankenstein

Honestly, I had heard so many good things about this film, and when I finally watched it, I completely understood why. I remember seeing Frankenstein win the hair and makeup and costume design categories, and at the time I was so upset because I wanted Wicked to win. But now I truly get it, this movie is visually stunning and it absolutely deserved it. The film is incredibly beautiful in a very dark and mysterious way, almost hypnotizing. There’s something so addictive about it, and the storytelling is amazing. It really pulls you in and makes you want to just sit there and listen to Frankenstein speak. Beyond that, the movie has a strong message about judging people. The scene with the old blind man especially stood out to me and I really loved it, and I think it perfectly emphasized the message of the film. Overall, it was such a beautiful and interesting movie it was so well made, touching, and truly moving.
