Raging Bull

This movie is simply crazy. Jake Lamotta is one of my favorite characters of all time, simply by how flawed he is and how he is always trying to make himself is think a certain way. The way that he latches on to a single word or phrase and repeats it until it has a different meaning to him is insane. Doing this to make himself think his own brother messed with his wife is crazy. The way paranoia and schizophrenia is displayed in this movie is perfect. Also when he started smiling and looking at his wife in the ring once he beat the shit out of the young boxer his wife casually called handsome once was chilling. This movie isn’t much about boxing but the scenes are still so perfect. I have no criticisms on this movie what so ever. De Niro, Pesci, and Scorsese all in one movie is always going to hit. Such a good movie on misogyny
