The Shining

One of my favourite movies of all time. Only thing I don’t like is that the character Jack Torrance is no where near as good as he is in the book. In the book Jack seems like a genuinely good guy who is trying to change for his family. In the book you actually feel bad for Jack as he slowly descends into madness because of the hotel. In the movie Jack seems a little crazy from the start and there was no point in the movie where I felt at all bad for Jack. Other than that the movie is absolutely amazing and is definitely a must watch.
