Amadeus

I began to see a way, a terrible way, I could finally triumph over God. I have so much to say about Amadeus I’m not sure where to start. Salieri ability to recognize Mozart’s genius is his curse, but he is able to enjoy his music to the fullest. If I started to rant about how good Mozart was it would be pretty redundant every body knows, but truly his music makes me feel. Everything is so intentional and this intention creates this otherworldly sense of beauty. Salieri couldn’t live in a world where God’s gift to Earth was through the vessel of someone so different than him, but so similar in that he is the only one who can appreciate Mozart’s work. Mozart’s requiem is one of the most haunting pieces ever composed, and the way it was shown in the film was so cool.
