i genuinely feel sick to my stomach. i don't think i’ve ever felt more from a film before; i never would’ve imagined a musical being this devastating. i had a physical reaction to this, i don't think i could ever watch it again. no one could have played this role but bjork, she was perfect for it and had a literal unforgettable performance. lars von trier will never fail to show us just how disgusting humanity gets.
