Adolescence
Okay but is Jamie inherently a bad person or is it just bad influences I was thinking about if I wanted to write a review but I’ve gathered my thoughts properly now. I might be one of the only ones who feels the empathy towards Jamie because I feel like it’s not entirely his fault it’s society and how they poison young boys minds I feel like if things were different and he had better influences in his life he wouldn’t of done that stuff but also I can understand as well feeling like no one likes him as well sometimes the emotion people feel can make them do horrific things as a way of dealing with them. I’m not justifying murder but I just feel sad about how essentially the world is just inherently violent and sometimes people don’t realise what they are doing is wrong. I don’t believe Jamie fully understands why what he is doing is wrong because he has certain beliefs about women and girls specifically in episode 3 this is shown. He is literally 13 he is still growling up and figuring out life and who he is and now he is gonna have to live with the consequences for the rest of his life and never figure out who he is properly as a person and it’s also sad for Katie never getting to grow up and live her life and figure out who she is as a person but I also think that maybe calling someone an incel when he is barely even a man yet probably messed with his head along with the other negative thoughts he has about himself.
