Dorohedoro

8.5/10 Haven't been this engaged in a anime for such a long time. The four hours flew by. It's not only great because of the gore, chaotic style and humor (ofcourse that is a big part) but it's a really interesting and great in terms of themes, characters and plot. Because of the fact that the anime is not done yet and has only told a part of the story from the manga it's not fair to judge the story as a whole but so far (if there will be a second season) the story has been unpredictable, constantly engaging and it unravels in such a great way and really keeps you hooked. But as said before you can't really fully rate it because it's not finished so if it gets more season I will rate it further then. The characters are also suprisingly brilliant and they all have great dynamics and feel nuanced and well thought out. I loved how you can see the story from both the antagonist and protagonists perspective and that you can't really tell who is the bad guy and who is the good guy. I thought that all the writing was amazing and that all the characters brought something unique to the table and that they were explored well so far but the fact that it's not finished also "hurts" the show in that category. But if the manga is something to go by the characters and story will only get better. Shin is my favorite characters so far because of his interesting arc so far and just by the fact that he looks so god damn cool. It's really a one of a kind show that is super violent and gritty and brings a super unique and gripping story to the table with some awesome music, animation, characters and action. Would highly recommend!
