Hellsing Ultimate

7.5/10 Who needs really good developed characters when you have the CEO of Chadiness ALUCARD. He is one of the most overpowered characters relative to their world that I have seen but he is still such a great character. Victoria Seras is also good but I wanted more character development for alnost every character and that is why the series faltered a bit. The plot and themes were good but nothing great but that is not really the point of Hellsing Ultimate as it feels like it uses the plot to just add as much action and gore as possible. And that is a great segue into the best part of the show (except Alucard) and that is as said the action and gore. The action scenes are almost done to perfection, they move fast and are really intense but never feel cluttered or incoherent. The production is really incredible as the gore and violence is always stellar and the art style fits this series as a glove (most of the time). But that is one of my biggest gripes with the series aswell as it changes the artstyle to something much more cartoonish that didn't fit the series gritty style at all. Overall it was a good show but as said before the plot was nothing extraordinary and the characters felt really underdeveloped for this long of a show (except alucard he is atleast top 50 character for me). But the show really succeded with the action and gore and that is why I would recommend it. And because of Alucard ofcourse :) Best Characters: 1. Alucard - 8.5/10 2. Victoria Seras - 5.5/10
