I like how Steve wasn’t your run of the mill jock. He actually had feelings, problems at home, and real human connection. He saw Andrew as his best friend, and Andrew saw that too. Up until his death, Steve was the most caring person, he heard Andrew crying alone in the storm, and went to comfort him. He didn’t care how dangerous it might have been, as long as his friend was ok in the end. I love how after everything, Matt still loved Andrew. He flew to Tibet and left the camera, as if it was Andrew, vowing to him and Steve that he was going to find out what happened to them down in the cave, no matter the distance he has to travel, or how dangerous is might be, he’ll do anything for his friends.
