Gregg Araki best director ever Actual top 4 is on my list Guess the category of my top 4 👀

Loved this movie the whole way through The way the comedy and drama was handled back and forth without it coming off as distasteful made it all the better, the movie really does blend in so much of these strange ideas and have you feel all over the place because of it, and the ending is easily the best ending of any of the movies to come out this year, with a bittersweet ending from Seth Rogen and Olivia Wilde that js gets completely emotional doing a breakdown on their relationship, why they want the sex party, when they last had sex, and what their relationship means with it. Sex is always done as a way of connection, and with that this movie bases the idea of sex and how often as a form of connection being weaker or stronger, and its js such a nice touch imo. Edward Norton shines through this whole movie as Hawk, taking every moment and just having such an amazing monologue that explains why his character is so upfront and the way he is, the reason he is who he is now for his girlfriend because of his wife. Great movie y/

not the biggest fan but it’s funny and it’s enjoyable from the weird ass performances 😭

amazing movie that shows the shitty side of about every person and archetype of person, I love how flawed Solondz makes all his characters, I love the humor for a movie like this i think the dim lighting is just emphasizing on the bleakness of this world. When she ends up getting her sister kidnapped from her narcissism and how she’s so full of herself, how she’s painted as a victim but as the victim she’s also a shitty person who tries to make people bend to wtv she wants, my favorite character was the brother Mark Wiener he’s js kind of a dick and a dork but his shit was funny asl. Overall a great movie had me laughing over sum weird ass shit

“like that chinese snuff film i costarred in”
