Ben Marsico

Somehow Nic Cages introduction was the most tame scene of the movie

Definitely an October rewatchable. Great suspense and atmosphere built by Sam Raimi. Was probably pretty jaw dropping especially for 82. The gore was a little over the top at points but excited for Evil Dead 2.

The animation was the biggest highlight here, it was awesome. Johnny Depps voice acting was great as well. They got Gore Verbinski and big shot Rog to do a western about an eccentric lizard sheriff, it was bound to be a fun time. Also loved the references to the classics. One of the better animated movies I’ve seen as of late.

Wasn’t a big fan of this. Doesn’t feel like a Scorsese movie, the plot was just kinda weird and nonsensical
