beautiful actors, color palette, story, what is missing?
the friendship between kevin and chiron is beautiful and the fact that you need to watch him get beat up by his only friend.
there is a flaw for me. i did not feel like there was a connection that big between kevin and chiron when they were at the beach it felt unnatural when they started kissing. but i will rewatch so maybe i will change my mind.
in the last chapter we can see chrions mother clean off drugs and sorry for chiron she was never the mom he needed and thats one of the most impactful scenes of the movie for me along with the chair scene at school.
8/10 maybe even 9/10 after i rewatch
