Look Back (2024) | ☆☆☆☆ “When it comes to manga, Fujino, you're a genius” This was absolutely beautiful. I have to be honest, I was really sceptical at first. The art style and animation surprised me a bit and I really disliked it at first. But honestly? It really grew on me.  I can’t say much about the story except that it really broke me. I’m not very much into drawing. I enjoy it but it’s not like it’s my passion so I didn’t go into this film expecting to be so emotional about some manga.  I also loved the friendship. Two polar opposites that complemented each other so well. I feel like both characters really needed each other at the time they met and that was so beautiful. Seeing them share their love for art really made me want to draw something.  The character of Fujino really made the film something great. She was just so real. Doing everything for her passion and then just giving up? That’s what makes a character good and relatable.
