Shrek

Shrek (2001) | ☆☆☆☆ “Oh, my God, you ate the princess!” It felt so nostalgic watching this again after years. Literally catapulted me back to my childhood.  “Shrek” is just such a funny film with such good soundtracks. The characters were also build so well. For example Donkey is like such a great and versatile character. (And also my favourite) As a child I didn’t really realise how amazing the friendship between Shrek and Donkey was portrayed but now that I watched it again, I can just see how important their friendship was for each other. For Shrek, he finally came out of his comfort zone and let people into his life. And for Donkey, I believe he was really alone and had no friends prior to Shrek and he really needed this relationship. Overall such an amazing film!
