vulnerability in a tight suit 🦸🏻‍♀️ probably the most emotional and straight-up expressive portrayal of masculinity i’ve ever seen in a superhero movie?? in any media even. like in a good, hot, respectful way i’ve always trusted james gunn’s vision, his projects never feel half-assed. the way he talks about this film, the way the cast (especially david corenswet 🧎🏻‍♀️) speaks with so much care and intention?? you can feel how much love went into this not gonna lie, i wasn’t a dc or superman fan before this, but i’ve been weirdly hyped since it got announced. i followed all the promos, the interviews, all of it. and seeing how passionate everyone involved is. that alone got me invested it kinda changed how i see superman as a character too. it actually made me rethink how I viewed DC films in general. the old DCEU never really hooked me, but this new direction? i’m so in this movie felt like everything a superhero movie should be. heart, charm, stakes, and a damn good time
