Impressive. Feels like it shares DNA with some of my favorite horror flicks (Hereditary and Midsommar) and I am very excited. It has its own identity and does not follow the norms of the genre, which I think have been fundamentally flawed for years. Hoping this is representative of a new era with Barker at the helm. Only critique I have is at times, especially in the first act, the dialogue felt off. Hard to describe but either forced or that it was trying too hard to sound natural and therefore did not. Either way it is something that can get better with reps and it’s safe to expect big things from Barker.

Just break the window?
