They should’ve included the little dance guides from Micheal Jackson the experience because this was essentially just a mj music compilation

I can’t say I know enough about physics and relativity to say anything about the science but I find it interesting how earth is just dying of something kind of undefined. Probably some type of pathogen destroying crops (likely combined with some climate change worse scenario), but I find it hard to believe that wheat would go before corn. You can grow wheat in harsher environments than corn like yeah biological agents aren’t the same thing but come on. Also rice? Beans? Legumes? The exact ecology isn’t that important for movie though. However, I still don’t like the premise that there is nothing we can do on earth to save it and we have to go travel space to find somewhere else. Space travel is cool but personally I don’t think we should ever just give up on earth (which presumably they do since there is Saturn colonies?) which is why I’ve kind of always had a difficult time fully enjoying sci-fi movies like this.

What if the cenobites were in space

Even though the practical effects are kind of cheesy and not great they’re still so charming for some reason
