Jaws

not saying anything new that hasn’t already been said before but this film, whether it was spielberg’s intention or not, is a great metaphor for capitalism. the villain of this film to me wasn’t the shark but the greedy mayor of amity island who prioritized profit over the lives of people. i’ve been wanting to watch this film for a long time and now that i have i get it now… i understand it greatness. it’s so good.
