Beautiful

Anne hathaway was genuinely insufferable. Dialogue was cheesy, self deprecating, millennial, and downright cringe - as Andy does “worry about this generation”. She’s either giggling nonstop between out of breath lines that ‘insist upon themselves’ or, shes totally teary eyed forcing a downward smile. They overdid Emily’s character at no fault of her own, and while Miranda was great she was definitely overreaching in attempt to sell the same carbon copy as before. A maturer move would have been to evolve these characters rather than to unravel, Miranda forgetting Andy only came across as ditsy rather than Chic. Perhaps Miranda *should’ve had to come to Andy* in a time of failure - where the roles are reversed. Instead Andy falls into the pre-miranda state of unconfident and unsure, which is just hard to watch. Stanley Tucci was amazing.
