wow. this is one of the best modern horror movie i have seen in a while. genuinely scary, uncomfortable, and disgusting scenes. the actress for nikki deserves an oscar for her acting. One thing that I loved was the constant tone switch. Like the scene where nikki is laying on bears shoulder and then they start kissing. the use of televisions by current joys makes this scene seem like “happy” in a sense it plays with your emotions audibly because of the song but you know this whole scene is gross and disturbing and to reinforce that nikki being herself again for a literal second. Another good use of tone shift that made you forget what kind of movie obsession is was the car scene with sarah. another current joys song kids was playing made it feel like a coming of age movie with sarah confessing to bear and also her art school letter. all these things makes it seem so happy just for it to change instantly. i love how nikki kept telling bear that it was all his fault and that he wished for this to happen.

Mater and doc hudson alone make this movie a 5 Star. Visually cars always stood out to me as a kid but to this day it is still so visually impressive. more and more i rewatch the more and more i love it. “float like a cadillac, sting like a beamer”

loved every second. the amount of references and nods to other movies were cracking me up. like why is there a shining reference😭 extra points for having seals as well. the plot and meaning of zootopia 2 was very relevant to what is going on in the world and i think it deserves more recognition.

pretty solid. love how warm the lighting was.
