GoodFellas

Bloody hell. What a gangsta film it is I mean ofcourse it's martin scorsese mams the goat of goats directed it🐐. But this gangster film felt different not like the other gangster movies this felt like we were in it in the mobsters perspective (pov) the naarations were raw it portrays brilliantly that's what makes it more iconic frickin peak 90's vibe the cinematography is just excellent and i didn't liked the tommy de vito character in this film felt annoying such a asshole but I was surprised by the fact it's based on a true story Fuckin hell . And the actor who played henry hill (ray liotta) man what an actor just cant put into words he had the swag the strange nature of his own just pure perfection. And robert di niro character in this film was quite different from his other roles but he nailed it as always he does such a legend. But okayy!! I get it now why so many ppl call this movie a classic and I also noticed that sopranos half of the crew members acted in this movie Paulie in sopranos and dr melfi character and christopher moltisanti Etc etc I was like wow I was amazed to see them in this movie such a great actors. This is a different breed in gangster genre for sure 💯 And that last scene 4th wall breaking act is easily one of the best sequences. This will stay timeless even after many yrs and I got to know one thing that being a gangstar either gets you whacked or gets you brokeass haha i realized that henry was calling normal ppl as suckers while he was getting what he wants effortlessly because he's in the Goodfells gang ofc he gets whatever he wants But in the end he deserved for everything he did damn. This somehow made me remember the last scene from clockwork orange that the whole point is karma is a boomerang i even said it in that movie review lol you get what you give As far back as I can remember i always wanted to be a gangster for me Being a gangster was better than being the president of the United States - henry hill. Absolutely legendary line forever i will remember this line🎬💥.
