damien chazelle 🤝 justin hurwitz making movies  (im going to write an actual review) honestly the movie was more than i imagined, hearing it flopped at the box office is shocking. despite being the longest of chazelle’s films it went by so quickly, the production design and soundtrack echo the era of hollywood we read about. each character created rises high like the era of film then falls so low. it made me happy, sad, terrified and love movies even more. with the shots and fast paced panning you can really tell it’s a chazelle film, and i gotta give props to every single performance from the actors and the incredible music composure.
