Total Eclipse

well, i can say i loved its honesty. although the characters are quite difficult to understand or relate to, they are shown just as they are with all their unpleasant sides. the actors also did a great job, leo dicaprio did a great job as a young defiant and zealous poet and david thewlis perfectly portrayed this spineless, pathetic and disgusting man who manipulates his wife and lover through pity. the movie really lets you get into the atmosphere, too. i didn't expect it to be so dark, though in the end i enjoyed the film despite it not quite meeting my expectations.
