Nobody Knows
What do you think of when you hear the statement "quiet life"? A cottage, a nice yard, a slow type of life when one goes about their day comfortably. Similarly to other works I've seen from this director (read:Shoplifters), Nobody Knows is a portrayal of a different kind of quiet life, life that quite literally goes by unknown to those around you, which only intensifies the feeling of overwhelming loneliness. Without spoiling it much, I'd like to say that time is probably as much of a character as the others. It influences, it harms and it suffers alongside the rest of the characters, leaving everything and nothing behind itself when it passes.
PS: Fuck their mum
